Office XP Tool: Global IME (Simplified Chinese) 

Use the Microsoft Global Input Method Editor for Office XP (Simplified Chinese) to input Simplified Chinese text in your documents, worksheets, presentations, mail messages, publications, and Web pages.                                                         

IMPORTANT This download is the Microsoft Office version of the Global IME (Simplified Chinese) IME. Microsoft Windows® also contains a version of this IME. If you are running Microsoft Windows® 2000, Microsoft Windows® XP, or Microsoft Windows® Server 2003, you do not need to download the Global IME (Simplified Chinese). We recommend that you use the Windows version of this IME instead.

If you are not running Windows 2000 AND you are not running a Simplified Chinese language version of the operating system, install the Office XP Tool: Simplified Chinese Language Pack.

Note   You must be logged on to your computer as a member of the Administrators group to install the Global IME.
